Navis at Asian Shipping 2007 Navis at Asian Shipping and Work Boat 2007 exhibition. New prospects.
The company Navis Engineering Oy, part of Navis Group of companies, jointly with Jason Electronics successfully took part in the exhibition Asian Shipping and Work Boat 2007 held in Singapore from 6 to 8 February.
This exhibition is one of the main annual events in the life of the shipbuilding industry of the South-East Asia region attracting the leading companies as exhibitors from Singapore, China, Australia and other countries situated in the basins of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, as well as other world-renowned manufacturers of equipment for workboats of all types. The great interest shown in this exhibition is caused by the rapid development of the shipbuilding industry in this region on the whole.
The event focuses on all kinds of ships and work boats alike including passenger and vehicle ferries, container ships, tankers, bulkers, tugs, offshore support vessels, fishing boats, harbour craft, oil spill recovery, rescue, patrol and pilot boats; aquaculture boats, dredgers and many more, as well as port operations and shipbuilding.
Navis’ systems were presented at the stand of Jason Electronics Pte Ltd., one of the leading companies of the shipbuilding industry of the South-East Asia region, which has not so long ago become the official dealer of Navis in this region. With more than 30 years of experience in this part of the world, this Singaporean company has branches in Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines, supplying wide range of products to the markets of these countries, starting from steering gears and ending with integrated bridge systems, marine simulators and satellite communication systems.
In the course of the presentation held at the exhibition by the Navis staff, the visitors had a chance of familiarizing in detail with the systems offered by Navis and Jason Electronics. |
