Four DP2 systems for ABG shipyard

A contract for delivery of four DP2 systems has been won by Navis Engineering with a strong backup of its sales and service agent for India, the company Results Marine Private Limited.

According to the contract, Navis is to deliver DP2 systems for four Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels (130 Tons Bollard Pull): two for the Egyptian customer, the company Maridive Offshore and two for the Italian shipping company Marnavi Spa.

The vessels are being built at the ABG Shipyard, India.

The amount of Indian and Chinese DP contracts signed recently by Navis is indicative of the prospects of the Eastern and Sout-Eastern offshore shipbuilding markets which continue to emerge despite the new challenging economical situation.
