Navis / Beier Radio to deliver 36 DP-2 systems for BourbonsNavis Engineering OY (Finland) and Beier Radio and Associates (USA) has signed a contract for delivery of 36 sets of DP-2 systems for the vessels to be built by Bourbon company in China.
The systems are scheduled to be delivered within next 4 years. All of them are to comply with the ABS DP-2 class requirements.The fact that Bourbon, one of the world leaders in maritime offshore industry, known for its innovative approach in their technical policy and namely in shipbuilding, has chosen Navis/Beier to supply DP systems for its vessels, points to the high quality and reliability of Navis’ systems.
For the short period of its 5-year presence in the market of DP systems Navis has successfully supplied and contracted over 100 DP systems. The majority of them have been supplied to North Americain cooperation with Beier Radio and Associates, Navis’ OEM partner in the USA.
