Navis’ CAMS Matelot-TS-6457 system successfully passes testing

At the end of March the State Commission decreed that the tactical navigation complex Matelot-6457S developed for a patrol vessel of the 6457S Sprut project successfully passed the state testing. The vessel is being built at the Yantar factory in Kaliningrad, Russia.

The complex includes Navis’ Matelot-TS-6457 system, comprising a Control, Alarm and Monitoring System (CAMS) and an alarm system.

The state tests were conducted in November, 2005. Now the Control, Alarm and Monitoring System is being adjusted according to new customer requirements. By the end of 2006 the system is expected to have been fine-tuned and the Matelot 6457S tactical navigation complex will be ready to be delivered.
