Navis signs an OEM-agreement with Beier and Associates, Inc., USAAt the beginning of this week Navis signed an OEM-agreement with the American company Beier and Associates Inc.
According to the agreement signed, Navis will produce for Beier and Associates Inc. specific configurations of Navis IVCS dynamic positioning systems which then will by supplied by the American company to the USA shipbuilding market under the Beier and Associates Inc. brand.
As a result of the long-term and fruitful partnership relations between Navis and Beier and Associates Inc., lasting for more than 5 years, over 40 dynamic positioning systems have been supplied, or contracted, to the vessels which are in operation in the Mexican Gulf, as well as in other regions of both North and South America.
However, in both companies’ management opinion, the agreement signed opens up new vistas for further cooperation. The 60-year business experience gained by the Beier and Associates Inc. Company at the North American shipbuilding market, the knowing of its specific features, combined with the high quality and reliability of the systems produced by Navis is the prerequisite for such sureness.
The Beier and Associates Inc., Company was founded in 1945 in the USA and, at the moment, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of communication, navigation and ship automation systems to the American market. During the 1970's, '80's and '90's Beier Radio supplied communication and navigation equipment and electronic engineering for the majority of new vessels built along the Gulf Coast. |
