The 50 m motor yacht Remember When receives the JP3000 joystick control system onboard

In May Navis successfully completed the installation of its JP3000 Joystick Pilot system on the motor yacht Remember When at the Christensen shipyard in Vancouver, WA.

The 49,38m (162') M/Y Remember When was launched by Christensen in 2010. The yacht has many innovative features and is the first yacht of her size to be equipped with an integrated dynamic positioning and joystick maneuvering system allowing the luxurious yacht to maintain fixed position and heading, and use different sets of thrusters/engines in maneuvering modes. This unique feature helps to ensure safe and efficient maneuvering, docking and mooring operations.




The Christensen shipyard is located in the beautiful North-Western part of the U.S., in Vancouver, WA. Christensen Yachts manufactures luxury motor yachts and consists of over 180,000 square feet of climate controlled manufacturing space and a seven-acre marina.
