Newly opened Japan Marine Science Simulations Center extends training opportunities for all DP crews operating in Asian region and provides realistic training environment for Pilots, Captains and Officers.
Founded in 1985 Japan Marine Science Inc. — the largest marine consulting company in Japan — celebrated 30th anniversary by opening of new training center equipped with Ship Handling Simulator. The Simulation Center was presented to the customers and shareholders Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK LINE) and Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK). First locally developed Ship Handling Simulator with DP includes Navis NavDP4000 dynamic positioning control system. Installed DP2 class control system has open communication protocol that allows fast and easy integration with any type of simulators for marine trainings.
More than 40 trainings centres around the globe are already equipped with DP control system made by Navis Engineering Oy.
